God can use your fight or flight instinct for His glory! He didn't mean it to be a do or die maneuver. He expected it to be an "oh, I didn't see you there. I won't trip over you!" reflex. Since we live in this fallen world, He can channel it into a place where what the enemy meant for our harm is not fruitful. He can direct it into what our stupid, absent-minded decisions brought on doesn't take us out. We are wired for victory! We are made for survival.
He programmed your genetic code to thrive!!! What an awesome God we serve. Not only did He purchase our good outcome, But He also programmed us to react instinctually to a threat. As we read the Word, our spiritual senses are exercised, and good and evil are sensed. Let God program your reaction based on His Word and the New Convent. It will renew your mind and train you to respond to every attack properly as you mature. This Covenant comes from a place of Victory! What Peace! What Assurance!
But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
